Bithiah (בִּתְיָה) means "daughter of God" in Hebrew. In 1 Chronicles 4:18, Bithiah is identified as the Pharaoh's daughter who drew Moses from the Nile and adopted him — Jewish tradition gives her this name (Bat-Yah, "daughter of YHWH") in honor of her saving act.
Featured prominently in Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments (1956).
Bithiah reduces to three — the number of biblical adoptive mother.
