Cynane (Κυνάνη, c. 358-323 BCE) was the half-sister of Alexander the Great — daughter of Philip II of Macedon by his Illyrian wife Audata. Trained as a warrior in the Illyrian custom, Cynane personally killed an Illyrian queen in battle and later led a campaign to put her daughter on the throne of Macedon.
Among the most fierce of the women of Macedon.
Cynane reduces to six — the number of Macedonian warrior.
