Ghosha (घोषा) means "sound, fame, declaration" in Sanskrit. **Ghosha Kakshivati** was the Vedic poet-sage — author of two Rig Veda hymns — who, suffering from leucoderma that had kept her unmarried into old age, was cured by **the divine twins the Ashvins** and finally married. One of the named female Rishikas.
