Honoria is the Latin feminine of Honorius — from honor. Justa Grata Honoria (c. 418-455) was the Roman princess, sister of Emperor Valentinian III, who in 450 CE sent her ring to Attila the Hun proposing marriage to escape her unwanted betrothal — triggering Attila's invasion of Gaul.
Her plea is one of the most consequential love letters in history.
Honoria reduces to eight — the number of Roman princess.
