Mahlah (מַחְלָה) means "weakness" in Hebrew. In Numbers 27, Mahlah was the eldest of the five daughters of Zelophehad — who together successfully petitioned Moses for the right to inherit land, establishing women's inheritance rights in Israelite law.
Mahlah is rare but iconic among the daughters of Zelophehad.
Mahlah reduces to three — the number of biblical inheritance.
