Mehetabel (מְהֵיטַבְאֵל) is the Hebrew name meaning "God benefits" or "God does good." In Genesis 36:39, Mehetabel was the wife of Hadar, king of Edom — one of the few named queens in the Edomite royal line.
Mehetabel is rare but iconic in biblical scholarship.
Mehetabel reduces to nine — the number of Edomite queen.
