Azubah (עֲזוּבָה) means "forsaken" in Hebrew. In 1 Kings 22:42, Azubah was the daughter of Shilhi and mother of King Jehoshaphat of Judah. In Isaiah 62:4, the name is used metaphorically for Zion before its restoration.
Rare but iconic in biblical scholarship.
Azubah reduces to eight — the number of biblical queen-mother.
