Cozbi (כָּזְבִּי) means "deception" or "lie" in Hebrew. In Numbers 25:15, Cozbi was the Midianite princess, daughter of Zur — killed alongside her Israelite lover Zimri by Phineas, in one of the most dramatic episodes of the wilderness journey.
Rare but iconic in biblical scholarship.
Cozbi reduces to six — the number of biblical Midianite.
