Sherah (שֶׁאֱרָה) means "flesh-kin" or "close relation" in Hebrew. In 1 Chronicles 7:24, Sherah was the daughter of Ephraim who built three cities: Lower and Upper Beth-Horon and Uzzen-sherah — one of only a handful of women in the Bible recorded as building cities.
Sherah is rare but iconic in biblical scholarship for her construction achievements.
Sherah reduces to eight — the number of biblical builder.
