Sosipatra (Σωσιπάτρα) combines the Greek sōzō (to save) and patēr (father). **Sosipatra of Ephesus (4th c. CE)** was the Neoplatonist philosopher-mystic of Pergamum — a major figure of late Hellenic philosophy who taught alongside Aedesius, with prophetic powers ascribed to her by Eunapius.
Featured in Eunapius's Lives of the Sophists.
Sosipatra reduces to one — the number of Neoplatonist mystic.
