Zeresh (זֶרֶשׁ) is likely from the Persian zaresha (gold). In Esther 5:14, Zeresh was the wife of **Haman the Agagite**, who counseled him to build the fifty-cubit gallows on which he intended to hang Mordecai — on which Haman himself was eventually hanged.
Featured in the Purim narrative.
Zeresh reduces to six — the number of Persian-Hebrew gold.
